We will provide an interactive training on:

  • How to evaluate the risk and vulnerabilities of a well system.
  • Step by step approach on how to provide effective outreach to your communities.
  • Resources available for well owners, environmental health and water quality professionals.


Have you ever been asked a well question and didn’t know the answer? Would you like to learn or gain more experience about how to perform a comprehensive well inspection? Want to learn strategies on how to provide effective outreach to engage your communities and have a successful well program?


Join your colleagues and RCAC to learn how, earn CEU hours and meet people in your profession to form those lasting partnerships. Please share this with your coworkers, staff and partners.

NORP Volunteer Potting Parties

Supporters of CSWCD are invited to volunteer at upcoming Northwest Oregon Restoration Partnership (NORP) potting parties. NORP provides coast specific native plant material for partners throughout the region, including CSWCD. As part of the partnership, we join with other partners and supporters during periodic volunteer events.

The event will be from 9am to 3pm.  Please show up anytime within that time frame to lend a helping hand.  The event will occur rain or shine.  We will be undercover if it does rain. Bring gloves, water, and rain gear.

Since the nursery is on OYA correctional facility property please let Maysa, the NORP coordinator, know if you plan to bring any minors (  This will dictate whether she can have the OYA Youth Crew helping the event run smoothly.

Native Plant Sale 2017

Clatsop SWCD is excited to partner with Necanicum Watershed Council to hold a native plant sale during their Annual Bird Discovery Day. Come on out to the Bob Chisholm Community Center in Seaside on April 1st to peruse and purchase plants that are native to the Oregon North Coast as well as learn all about native birds. The plants on sale will range from the stunning fall foliage of vine maple to the unique flowers of bleeding heart. Not only are the plants beautiful, they provide crucial habitat for the native birds, pollinators, and other wildlife of our region!

Clatsop County Local Work Group and Public Input Meeting

  • Wetland Restoration/Off Channel Fish & Wildlife Habitat
